Sydney Seals Football/Soccer Coaching formerly known as Northern Beaches football Coaching is a football(soccer) coaching service based in Sydney, Australia. The name has been changed due to the recent expansion into other areas of Sydney.

We provide 1 on 1 Coaching, Group training and even team training. Our goal is to provide players with a wide variety of coaching optons for players of all levels and goals.

We also believe in the football development pathway put foward by the FFA through there National Curriculum and develop players accordingly. We are not a private academy and players and teams who are trained by our coaches play under there association clubs banners as a part of that club whoever they may be.

We understand that some players do not want to be the next Messi or Ronaldo. But, simply want to become slightly better. In some instances we have had players simply want to get better so they do not feel isolated by their perceived lack of ability.

But we also know that there are players who already have a love for the game and who are looking to be the best possible. For players with this goal we try to get the top the highest level. Whether that be.

  • Association League (The Old State League)
  • National Premier League (1,2,3 or 4)
  • A League Academy

Mini Pups Program

  • For players Under 6
  • Fun based sessions
  • Available 7 days a week
  • Avaialble anytime during the day
  • Sessions will be 45 minutes
  • Maximum of 8 players
  • 1 on 1 sessions

Pups Program

  • For players Under 6 to Under 12
  • Fun based technical sessions
  • Available 7 days a week
  • Available Before or after school
  • Sessions will be 60 minutes
  • Maximum of 12 player per session
  • 1 on 1 training
  • Group training

Seals Program

  • For players U13 and older
  • Fun based technical and game development sessions
  • Available 7 days a week
  • Available before and after scchool during the week
  • Sessions will run for 60-90minutes
  • Maximum of 16 players
  • 1 on 1 training
  • Group training

Why you should play football


The program is a great opportunity for kids to make lifelong friends. It’s important at such a young age that kids have as any friends as possible. This develops a child’s social learning by exposing them to situations that they may not be comfortable in, such as meeting a new person. The program then builds on this by making these people who may have never met each other work together as a team. This helps build confidence in kids at a young age that will then hopefully help them not just in football but also outside of football.


Football is a physical game. A constantly moving ball, two relatively long halves and  big field means that football is physically demanding. Due to this, kids who participate in the program and football are generally healthy kids. As long as they maintian a healthy balanced diet of course.

On top of this, because football is an outdoor activity it means that players spend less time on the computer/phone/iPad/TV. Numerous studies have shown the derimental effects that too much screen time can have. By getting kids out of the house and away from these devices it means that they have a better chance of being healthier


By playing in a team environment (although also a social benefit) football can also have a positive impact mentally. Winning matches and accomplishing new skills provides players with self confidence and a sense of achievement.

Football also forces players to use both feet when they play. This activates both sides of the brain which then leads to better brain functionality as a result.

Football also helps individuals have a better mood and be happier. Because football is a physical activity it releases massive amounts of endorphins which are a natural mood lifter.
